DataForge is built around a single principle: your data never leaves your device. Every conversion runs entirely in your browser, so we have nothing to upload, store, or sell. This policy explains exactly what does and does not happen when you use the site.
Local-only processing
All tools — JSON, Base64, JWT, SQL, Markdown, hashing, color and time conversions — execute locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The content you paste is never transmitted to any server, written to any log, or shared with any third party.
What we store on your device
We use your browser’s local storage only to remember your interface preferences: your theme (light or dark) and the list of tools you recently opened. This data stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Cookies and tracking
We set no advertising or analytics cookies and embed no third-party tracking scripts. A single functional cookie may be used by the site to remember your language preference so you land on the right localized page. We do not build user profiles or fingerprint your device.
Third-party services
The site is delivered as static files from a content delivery network. We do not integrate external APIs that receive your input data. Any links to external documentation or resources are governed by their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to expose, correct, or delete on a server. You remain in full control: clearing your browser storage removes every trace the site keeps.
